Samantha lived a dream-like childhood. She spent summers frolicking in the majestic realm of 16th Century England at her family-produced Renaissance Faire in Chicago, while her school year playground was backstage at rock concerts - her dad produced all the major rock concerts in the Twin Cities. Samantha grew up doing commercials and print work, while her first film role, in Disney's D3: THE MIGHTY DUCKS, was during college at Northwestern University. She also worked for Disney in GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE. Soon after moving to L.A., New Line's DROP DEAD GORGEOUS (July '99) brought her back to Minneapolis to shoot. Eric Idle cast her as his sidekick/singer/dancer in his revue ERIC IDLE EXPLOITS THE MUSIC OF MONTY PYTHON at the Getty Museum in July '99, which led to her participation in the subsequent national tour and original cast album. Other stage credits include HAMLET, THE WIZ and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Her parents and sister, Aimee, are the light of her being. |
